Hi, I'm Nicole Mahler and my business journey began on my stovetop about 10 years ago when I was in my mid 40’s trying to re-enter the workforce after a surprise third child! After many unsuccessful job applications, I decided to create a business that combined my passion for food, corporate marketing skills and allowed me work flexibility.

I am very proud of the exciting and innovative food business I have created over the last 5 years; despite a major accident which left me wheelchair bound for 7 months, ongoing surgeries, learning to walk again and other business challenges faced by start-ups.

VEGAN MADE EASY was born as I was inspired to create a range of products that were plant based and supported my two daughters’ desire to be vegan - plus ensuring the meals were nutritious and taste delicious! With the help of family and friends we made our debut at farmers markets, where we managed to achieve an amazing 85% try to buy ratio. People of all ages LOVED it! With demand rapidly growing, I devised a Dahl home delivery service, ordered via Facebook. Before I knew it, I was cooking over 200 litres on my stove top at home and madly delivering to 12 suburbs.

For me – and my beautiful team - it is all about sharing the love of good food and to make choosing plant based, healthy meals EASY! I never dreamt my business would get quite this big from humble ‘share with family and friends’ meals but now we have our sights set on international markets and to release exciting new products into the Australian market in the coming year.
