Coconut Dahl Pies Recipe


1 x 500g pack of Dahlicious Coconut Veg Dahl

1 x 400g tin chick peas – rinsed and drained

2 x sheets shortcrust pastry

1 x sheet puff pastry


Preheat oven to 200 degrees fan forced.  Using a 6 hole muffin tray (do not grease) cut shortcrust pastry rounds to fit – note the bottoms need to be bigger than the tops.

Mix rinsed and drained chick peas into one pack of Coconut Veg Dahl.

Fill 6 pie pastry bases. Cut out 6 puff pastry pie lids and press gently around the edges to seal.

Bake in 200 degrees fan forced oven for 14 mins or until golden brown and puffy.  Enjoy – the kids will LOVE them!
